Classic colors (white, black, anthracite) are the most expensive when used, due to high demand. Rare colors like gentian blue or orange are often cheaper when used, because the market is smaller – an advantage for the brave.

Is USM Haller Financially Worth It?
At first glance: no. An IKEA Kallax 4×2 costs €80, a USM sideboard of a similar size costs over €3,000. But USM Haller lasts practically forever – the metal doesn't rust, the powder coating is extremely durable, and the system can be reconfigured as desired. After 10 years, the Kallax is at the recycling center, while the USM sideboard still fetches €2,000 on eBay.
